EU-OPS auditAviationAudits.nl safeguards the required independence. |

EU-OPS is the legislation which is the basis of the safe flight operation within the operating area of the European Union, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. EU-OPS contains the requirements for holders of an Air Operator Certificate (AOC).
An EU-OPS audit concerns the performance of (parts) of an airline company.
EU-OPS 1.035 describes, amongst other things, the obligation to perform audits. The former AMC-OPS 1.035-4.5.1, which is still used as explanation of OPS 1.035, mentions explicitly that it is approved to outsource audits to an external party.
AviationAudits.nl is able to perform all audits, which are part of the Quality Assurance Program, which is mandatory for AOC holders. This makes it possible in a simple manner, to relief capacity shortages within your Quality Assurance department or to hire independent expertise which is not available. It can also be desirable to engage an external party for audits on management and organisation, or an audit on your own Quality Assurance Program. This way you safeguard the required independence.
Due to our extensive operational experience, AviationAudits.nl is also able to perform cockpit and cabin inspection flights for you. This is done with the use of especially developed checklists. These inspections are not performed on company or type-related procedures, but on the compliance with legislation with special attention for flight safety.
